Of course, they'll be lots of posturing, but, in the end, Congressional Dems will fold and meekly follow ShrubCo's party line. Then they'll shake their heads and say, "there was no point in fighting, we couldn't have won anyway, if only we had a bigger majority."

The American people will take this as another sign of Democratic spinelessness, one which will drive them to once again elect a Republican President next year, on the grounds that a strong asshole is better than a feeble mensch.
