George may have painted us into a VERY dangerous corner
The cornered rat known as George Bush has gone even crazier than I could have imagined.

He now has stated, in clear, simple terms, that he wants us to occupy Iraq for several lifetimes. A permanent occupation.

Our next president MUST disavow - in terms just as clear - this policy on his/her first day in office.

Or Armageddon is, indeed, closer than any of us may have imagined.

This guy has pissed me off many times. Nonstop, essentially. But he's never really frightened me.

Until now.

1. The next president needs to open the books on BushInc. Only exposing them fully will turn

this nation off the road to fascism its been on for years now.

If those books aren't opened by a Dem president then you know that full on fascism is our reality.

Democrats need to take accountability seriously and weigh the costs.

5. Ding ding ding!!!!
We need to expose these bastards for what they are. They can and will get away with murder unless we do something about it. We cannot afford to have another Bush in office.

especially if it's Hillary

can't wait to see if she's forced to comment on the possible Ted Olson nomination as AG

and.....isn't it already too late, too much water under the bridge, too far down the road to totalitarianism?

I hope I'm wrong, but....

13. I think Kucinich is the only candidate that would attempt it.
I see too many of our candidates playing the politics game in their answers, and I assume their is a reason for it. If they are presidential and electable, they should stand up for what the are fighting for and let the Citizens elect the one for us the people. If they cant stand up now, why would they stand up when they no longer need us?

If you want to see true change in politics and America, I believe Dennis Kucinich is the choice. I am so happy that I have not been a constant supporter of one candidate over the years, I vote on who looks to be the best candidate each election. So I can sit back and look at all candidates with an open mind instead having my favorite candidate stuck in my head no matter what others are saying.

17. But you know as well as I do
that everything will be destroyed once he leaves office.
There will be no evidence left behind.
They would rather take the lickings for destroying records than for treason.

23. There are still archived documents from Reagan and Bush that would expose
the origins of what has been going today.

3. Tell ya what ........
...... I knew damned well what that embassy was for. It was, however, always with the necessary international, diplomatic Kabuki. He has shed the pretense and said it very clear terms.

That's the difference.

What did YOU think I didn't see?

4. "necessary international, diplomatic Kabuki"; never with our self imposed dictator.
Looks like he has become emboldened once again and has put 'US' in an irreversible situation for the foreseeable future.

18. Big deal, we abandoned our multi billion dollar base in Saudi Arabia
right after 9/11. They told us to get the fuck out, so we did. The money has been made on building that embassy, that's all anybody cared about.

21. The military industrial complex is in control and they have no plans..........
to give up their current gravy train. Weapons, military equipment and military supplies are the last of the enterprises still left in America and the PNAC, the AEI and HF are going to make certain our military dominance doesn't slip away, even if it bankrupts our nation.

6. Well, it will create the intended effect--permanent terrorism, permanent
justification for wartime governing, permanent enrichment of the MIC, permament incitement of hatred between Christians/"Infidels" and Muslims.

8. The Fall of the Roman Empire
The Fall of the USSR (due to Afghanistan)

That is the road he has placed us on

In fact, today more than ever, I expect the Empire to collapse suddenly and for the country to split into anywhere from three to five successor states

See that dustbin, yep the one the right keeps thinking they live independently from... yep the dustbin of history

11. We will be the next USSR - Nope we are already
We wake up and pick up latest edition of Pravda the news delivery boy dropped at our driveway

Or turn on the TV and hear the censored news.

We wait in line either at a facility or on a telephone line to try and schedule an appointment for a medical procedure that we need today but our HMO won't let us have help for until another three weeks passes. (If that soon)
