Bumper stickers spotted in Tulsa, OK this week:
(Keep in mind this is a heavy GOP area.)

I AM NOT A REPUBLICAN

WORST EVER
(used the "W" flag logo from the 2004 campaign)

If You're a Republican,
YOU ARE NOT MY FRIEND

If You Voted for Bush,
YOU'RE THE PROBLEM

IMPEACH

GOP:
Grand
Oil
Party

Send the Clown in
the White House Home

Bush Never Met An Oil
Company He Didn't Like

I should add that there are a lot fewer "W" stickers now, although I still see them regularly. But the difference is there are a LOT of anti-Bush, anti-GOP stickers now. There were more, but I can't remember them now. I spotted these just driving to and from work, going to the grocery store, etc.

People have had enough - they are fed up.

Finally.

1. I saw a truck with a W 04 sticker that the owner had obviously tried to remove
It wasn't faded and cracking or falling apart. Looked to be in good shape, except the corner was ripped down to the middle as if they pulled on it and it didn't come all the way off.

Made me feel pretty good that at least maybe somebody finally woke up.

3. If you are in Tulsa -
how do you think the ORU thing is going to play out?

8. I know a couple of the people involved.
I don't know Richard or Lindsay, but I do know Lindsay's sister Stephanie. She's the one with the laptop where the incriminating document was found.

Stephanie is first class all the way, she's honest, has high ethics and I trust her completely. Not sure about the rest of them, though.

Friends of mine who were students at ORU as far back as the late 70s told me things weren't right with the family, the ministry, and the way money was handled.

From what I've seen and heard over the years, I think their antics have finally caught up to them. Just my opinion, though. ;)

4. I've started spotting a whole bunch of Ron Paul stickers and signs lately.

Also, One Romney sticker, and an "Anyone but Hillary" T-Shirt.

And my least favorite: two stickers that proclaim the peace sign to be the "Footprint of the American Chicken."

Also on the Republicker side, I have seen two "Don't blame me, I voted for Muffy stickers" (Someone upset that Deval Patrick is Governor).

Also spotted: a bunch of Obama and Clinton stickers, along with a wide variety of anti-Bush stickers.

And then there's THIS idiot chickenhawk:

"Terrorists need a taste of their own medicine" and "To HELL with our enemies, god Bless America"

But then there's THIS guy:

Also:

And just for fun...

"S&M Painting and Remodeling: Because fixing your home shouldn't be a painful experience... unless you're into that sort of thing."

7. Odd, there's a marked decrease in those in Eastern TN
They used to be so prevalent that I hated my drive time. Now, you actually notice when you see one because it's just out of place. Plenty of Anti-Bush/G.O.P. stickers are to be seen though and it seems to be increasing.

As for other candidates for 08' - we're flooded with Ron Paul propaganda. There's a few Obama stickers and signs out and about, a decent amount of Kucinich material, and a few Hillary's. Oh, and the occassional FRED sticker, which surprisingly enough hasn't caught on that much.

Of course, these are just observations and nothing scientific, but it does give you a good feeling when you see it.

9. Lots of love for old Fred in Nashville
I usually see the Fred 08 stickers adjacent to the W stickers. I did see one Hillary 08 sticker in the Target parking lot last weekend - I did a double take to see if it was real.
