A Moral Authority now honored in the House Rotunda
Edited on Wed Oct-17-07 12:59 PM by liberaldemocrat7
The 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso sits and listens to people describe him as a moral authority as he will receive the congressional gold medal.

Such people as Elie Wisel amd Tom Lantos, two holocaust survivors speak of the moral authority of the Dalai Lama who wants to have his Tibetan people to have religious and cultural autonomy in Tibet.

The man of moral authority Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso sits next to a man who does not have much moral authority and who has sent over 150,000 men into a country who eventually killed close to a million of their own citisens.

Look at the contrast, People.

2. Nice touch...
HH Dalai Lama bumped foreheads with Nancy Pelosi when they shook hands. That's a traditional Tibetan gesture of deep friendship. Chimpy didn't get one--too drunk to hold steady long enough, and besides, he'd have to bow.

3. It appears farcical to me. This Congress cannot make peace in America
but * stands up and makes remarks about what China should do. What a farce!
