If idiots didn't make such a big deal about supporting Pete Stark. the apology would be no big deal
either. Stop helping RePUKES build up the bullshit. Pete Stark's comments didn't mean anything in the scheme of things and his apology wouldn't either except that people here helped build the RePUKE story up.

1. Pete Stark was telling the truth, more than can be said for Heath Shuler
and the other Bush Dogs.

How does the saying go? All evil needs to triumph is for good men to remain quiet.

I will say this much about the whole embroglio. There will be one less Democrat in the state of California, when I get through to the County Registrar of Voters. I have had it up to my neck for too long with being in the same party as any member of the DLC. I think the DLC is batshit crazy. The sadest thing as far as I am concerned is that very likely the next US President will be a member of the DLC. If I were younger, it definetly would be moving time, as in north to Canada, or way east to Europe.
Country music likes to tell us what a great country this is, but when one combines the elected pukes with the elected DLCers, good God!
50 Millions Americans voted for Bush, TWICE!

2. If we didn't make a big deal of the freedoms listed in the Bill of Rights, then it wouldn't be
such a big deal when they're taken away.

3.  What are you suggesting ?
That the liberals just let Stark be hung out to dry ?

We can't continue to be controlled by what the repugs have to say , we need to stand up against them .

Look what happened when Feingold wanted to censure bush and Boxer was the only one to stand by him .

5. You have a problem with people actually speaking the truth?
I think Pete Stark is terrific. I think it's horrible that this good man has been forced to
apologize. I understand the mechanics of why this is ... I understand the necessity of it ...
but I can still think it's horrible.
