The lunatic and the largest full moon of 2007

The full Moon of Oct. 25-26 is located on the near side, making it appear as much as 14% bigger and 30% brighter than lesser full Moons we've seen earlier in 2007.

This week's full Moon is a "perigee Moon" with extra-high "perigean tides."

Don't let Bush outside in California on Thursday night - this could be the night of the raving lunatic.

1. Fortunately we are having some very clear weather in our
area. The moon is still rising a little early in the evening but should make a good show in a few days.

4. I've had re-occurring dreams about the moon coming very close to Earth all my life.
I'll be watching. Hopefully it will be clearer than today.
