Dear Friends,
First of all, a big thank you to all of you who have supported us throughout this campaign and have made the success of the last few weeks possible. As you know, earlier this month we took out a full-page ad in the New York Times, which made headlines around the country and even the world. And now, thanks to the generosity of so many of you, we have launched a TV ad campaign.
Today we'd like to update you with the latest news about it and ask just one thing of you:
Gore is almost tied for the lead. Vote to help him win!
No one believed this would be possible. Al Gore's name and picture are not included in this important poll run by Democracy for America. You have to go to some trouble to even write in his name. And yet people by tpulsepoll_sidebar-dfa_VOTE.jpghe tens of thousands have voted for Gore, and until 24 hours ago he was in the lead! But the other candidates are fighting hard and Gore has just lost his lead, so please, VOTE TODAY. To vote, look for the "Other" icon (you have to scroll down), drag it to the top, and in the space provided type in Al Gore's name.
Draft Gore Update: TV Ad Running on CNN and in NH
Draft Gore has never been busier than this past month. The New York Times ad gave us a national platform, and we were quoted in most stories about Al Gore's Nobel Peace Prize two days later. We were also featured on network news stories, such as this one on ABC News.
Now we hope our TV ad will have a similar impact. The 30-second spot features clips from speeches in which Gore takes an early stand against the war in Iraq and exhorts Americans to take back their government and restore Constitutional authority. "I believe our success in defending ourselves depends precisely on not giving up what we stand for," Gore says in one of the clips. See our ad on our website,

Thanks again for staying the course with Draft Gore.
Sincerely,
Monica Friedlander
