Largest march on Washington in a generation, according to Hardball
Edited on Tue Nov-06-07 09:33 AM by Atman
Did you see yesterday's Chris Matthews shrill-a-thon? As part of MSNBC's silly "Green Week" campaign (you can go back to driving your styrofoam and plastic-laden trash to the landfill in your Chevy Suburban next week), Matthews had a young environmentalist and -- who else? -- Pat Buchanan on his show. Pat, of course, roundly lambasted the notion of global warning, with his only proof being that he just didn't just didn't believe it, and some outlier scientist told him it was bunk. Well, we learned something truly amazing from the environmentalist, backed up by Chris complete with video. The largest march on Washington in a generation occurred this past weekend, with nearly 6,000 marchers in attendance!

SIX THOUSAND. The largest march on Washington in a generation!

Half a million anti-war protesters apparently didn't MARCH, they hopped and skipped. Does anyone wonder why we never get anywhere? The press completely ignores not only the actual events, they re-write history for the American people as well. Nothing to see here, America. Move along.

(edited for typos)

3. Time for an online petition to be sent to TWEETY signed by thousands of DUers...
Point out the truth about the anti-war march on D.C. and ask for a public correction on air.

4. Shameless self-kick
This is what's going out to the public. Two massive anti-war marches are not even acknowledged while a "green" march of 6000 is heralded as "the largest in a generation."

6. This is what we can't fight
Short of torches and pitchforks, that is. Anything else will have exactly zero effect on these assholes.
