Who will write Bush's memoirs?
Assuming Bush leaves office in 2009, there will be the general expectation that he will write his memoirs.

A real book. Full of complete sentences and "thoughtful analysis" (snort!) As I was reading the thread about how Bush is a compulsive optimist, and the frightening disconnect (craziness) of this person, it came to me that sooner or later, he may have to "write" his own accounting.

Who would ghost write such a thing, and keep that fun fact a secret? Or do you really believe that our pretzeldent will write it himself and what will that finished product look like?! I'm thinking he bails on the whole project and decides any memoirs he would write would be too sensitive for "national security" or some such foolishness that gets him off the hook.

33. She's a definite possibility.
And I think she'd keep her mouth shut about it too, she's such a brainwashed sycophant. I suspect there will be more than a few people who analyze Bush's writing "style" (cough) in comparison to hers.

Yup, a definite possibility.

10. Better yet, who would read them?
What can this man possibly do upon leaving office? Most presidents make a good living on the speaking circuit. Can anyone believe that any group would pay Bush to speak? I would expect very few would attend.

11. The official version will be authored by Bill Keane (of Family Circus)

Keane really captures the wit and intellectual depth of Dubya. And, of course, memoirs in cartoon form only makes sense.
