4. what's going on is that the repubs want the motion to table to fail
so they can force a vote on the impeachment motion, which they will then win.

There will be a lot of posturing by both sides and then a vote and then it will be all over.

56. and you have comprehension problems
DK's plan was to call for a vote. That automatically sets in motion a limited one hour period of debate. I clarified this in several posts that you choose to ignore.

The fact is that the best thing that can happen now is for the Democrats to salvage this with a motion to refer DK resolution back to the Judiciary Committee.

and it will lose because every single repub will vote against it and more than 16 dems will vote against it and the spin will be victory for cheney and chimpy.

THey are going to force a vote on the merits of kucinich's resolution and they will unanimously vote against it and with at least 16 Democrats almost certain to join them, they will defeat kucinich's resolution and will claim a great victory for chimpy and cheney.

all that anyone will remember is that an attempt was made to impeach chimpy and it failed. And there will be no further discussion of impeachment for the rest of chimpy and cheney's term.

There is still a lot of time to get newer candidates to run against them in the primaries!

If they pass the impeachment resolution, then it will be more than an f'in hour in the Senate when the trial happens! That's when the serious stuff begins!
