Nancy Pelosi does something right -- but then check out the response
Edited on Wed Nov-07-07 08:04 PM by brentspeak
The Hill reports today that Nancy Pelosi is commencing a program that will offer injured veterans job opportunities in Congress. (see: http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/pelosi-wants-to-employ-more-veterans-in-congress-2007-11-07.html)

But does the following individual DUer response to this article strike you as being a little...oh, I don't know...odd?????

(name redacted) Wed Nov-07-07 07:40 PM

Looks Like She Also Wants the Largest Possible Pool Of Applicants

Which would explain her taste for endless war.

5. I believe the poster is saying "Nancy alone has the power to stop all war funding votes",
instead of pussyfooting around.

8. Aren't You Tired Of Her "Dog Ate My Homework" Excuses?
She is one of many "Democrats" playing a sick and cynical game of giving the Republicans rope to hang themselves. They must be held to account for their (in)actions. This is about governing, not sick games.

Sincerely,

(name redacted)

13. Another bone thrown
by the Democratic Leadership, in an attempt to distract from the fact that they have FAILED to deliver any substantive 'change in course' that would deliver us all from seven years of failed Bush/GOP policies.
