So, maybe it worked out that impeachment goes to committee rather than debated on the floor?

I am no expert on procedure so if I don't have something right feel free to let me know.

If it had gone to the floor then Republicans might have been able to make it enough of a mockery steering away from facts and using slogans and lies, that it would have been a mistake and possibly embarrassed the Democrats. But with it going to the Judiciary Committee and Wexler urging them to hold immediate hearings, then (if Conyers allows debate) everyone has to take a serious look at it behind closed doors. Then as important conclusions get leaked or reported every few days to the media, slowly building a groundswell of support, then the media begins to frenzy, you then may have this explode into something very real?

Yes, No, Maybe?

2. I'm pretty confused right now and getting very distrustful of
our Democratic leadership. I do hope that they don't ignore the electorate any more than they have in the past. It's time for them to wake up and realize that we the people are in charge regardless of how empowered they feel to ignore us.

3. Not to mention that they are SWORN to uphold the Constitution
It's their duty to check into this! It's their duty to protect this country from abuses of power.

4. The Rethugs could definitely end up outsmarting themselves on this.

They may end up winning. But by slamming the ball into the Dems' court, well, they're not in control of the ball anymore, are they?

7. Giving the Spineless Dem's cover was a HUGE mistake
Those without a spine won't act unless they have cover. Now if Republicans say "Why is the congress debating this, it's a waste of time!!!"

Because the REPUBLICANS VOTED For us to do so!!!!!

WoW! Boehner should stay away from playing chess!
