'Impeachment=fringe left issue' talking point
It shows how far to the right the country has shifted under Bush. It is almost to the point (if we aren't there now) that supporters of the US Constitution and the Geneva Conventions are considered fringe leftists.

1. That's a media driven framing
The people are actually liberal for the most part. They just aren't paying attention. And if it comes to a Hillary/Rudy smearfest, they'll tune out even more.

5. Actually I believe the media is tunning their polls to slant against the liberal leaning Americans!

4. But it's perfectly mainstream to impeach a president over a blowjob.
This is one of the most screwed up countries on this planet. Really amazing stuff.

6. Yes but that is the media
the people didn't give a hoot over that one and that was driving the right NUTS

This time they are not covering it... serious... and it is over 50% of people who want it done

Yep, baby Krystol must be scratching his head

7. And your point highlights the absolute disconnect between our so called..
representatives/leaders and the people that allegedly grant them power.

In short, the entire system has failed the people. It's rule by the elite, for the elite and the rest of us are just supposed to shut the hell up and fight over table scraps.

9. There you go, once you realize this
it is easier to act.

The first step is to break out of the isolation created by the system

Start by talking to neighbors!

;-)

And definitely block parties are bad for these folks

These books get ones attention rather quickly. Both make the case that impeachment should be the only thing on the table right now. Highly recommended for anyone who hasn't read them.

8. What was the impeachment of Bill Clinton a right wing nutso action.
Seems like there is a heck of a lot more reason to impeach bush and cheney than over a blow joy.

11. Erm, didn't I see a whopping 89% in favor of impeachment of Bush
in a CNBC poll posted yesterday on DU... I'd volunteer this is NOT a fringe issue at all, except the corporate media like to frame it as such.

12. The last scientific poll had 54% in favor of impeaching Cheney, 45% for impeaching *

Not 89%, but still hardly a fringe issue.

14. Still, It's Time To Stop Being "Anti-War" ...
... and start being "Pro-Impeachment."

Because that's another "PR ghetto" those who simply want the Constitution followed get shunted into.

And no, you can't ride two horses with the same behind.
