CNN poll Iraq war opposition at all-time high
http://thinkprogress.org/2007/11/08/poll-iraq-war-opposition-at-all-time-high/

New CNN poll released today finds: (http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2007/11/08/cnn-political-ticker-am-90/)

Support for the war in Iraq has dropped to 31 percent and the 68 percent who oppose the war is a new record.

Despite the drop in violence in Iraq, only one quarter of Americans believes the U.S. is winning the war. There has been virtually no change in the past month in the number of Americans who believe that things are going badly for the U.S. in the war in Iraq.

The public also opposes U.S. military action against Iran. Sixty-three percent oppose air strikes on Iran, while 73 percent oppose using ground troops as well as air strikes in that country.

Overall, 56 percent, of Americans are dissatisfied with progress in the war on terrorism.

1. Oh, don't worry, they're already trotting out Holy Joe to propagandize--
we just haven't had full-press media saturation of VICTORY! yet.

2. I fear the Powers that be are missing a seious point--
A large amount of anger over the Money being spent on the
War.

In the elections this week--People were not in favor of raising
taxes even to expand Children's Health Care. Stem Cell Research etc.

Two day earlier the News was $10 Billion for Pakistan.

This is taxpayers money. Joe and Jane Six Pack have problems
In any Emergency of Foreign Affairs we can find billions and
send it to dictators. Yet, we cannot find money or we have
to skimp to send help to our own citizens.

It was sickening to hear we only had a limited amount to send
the victims of the Wild Fires. Who can forget Katrina.

Just this week One of the GURU Televangelist made this statement
"War is awful" We cannot help our own people who are hurting.

Commonsense tells us it does look horribly suspicious. Suddenly
find money for Foreign AFFairs and War. Yet our Social Safety
Net is going Broke. SS and Medicare have to be reformed because
our nation is so poor. Get the story straight please. Both
Parties.

When a Televangelist who promoted the War in Iraq is questioning
it is time to wake up and smell the coffee.
