Georgia's Republican Gov to pray for rain:
What to do when the rain won’t come? If you’re Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue, you pray. The governor will host a prayer service next week to ask for relief from the drought gripping the Southeast.

I don't know about you, but with the massive mismanagment and lack of disaster planning the state is now suffering through, I think Georgia residents would be better off praying that Purdue was no longer their governor.

12. I know that you are kidding, but the local weathermen who keep saying this are pissing me off
I am tempted to write back to them and suggest another incorrect, savage Native American stereotype...scalping of one's enemies.

Hoka Hey!

13. Yes, I was kidding. But you are saying that local weathermen are
actually saying that? Are they saying it jokingly?

6. Oh I already cause Floods

One spring I flooded southern Ohio, and I mean flooded, the roads washed out, it was a state of emergency and we were literally stuck on a hill for days...maybe 10 years ago.

Then maybe 8 years ago I had a hurricane wandering around off the coast of VA for days and then when I crossed the state line it made a beeline for the Gathering of the Tribes in Isle of Wight. My High Priestess was married in a hurricane after which we all fled to a crummy hotel, drank bunches and giggled over the amount of mud covering us all, including the bride!

Note: It wasn't spring! It was Hurricane Floyd in Sept 1999. I think I am getting old.

Those are just the bad ones.

People do not like camping with me, no matter how good my cooking is.

5. Another example of why religious zealots shouldn't be elected to political office

In lieu of pursuing a state government policy to manage existing resources, he's relying on some quasi-mythological Deus Ex Machina to save his state's collective ass.

Another act in this country's theater of the absurd.

7. I think Georgia residents ought to pray for a Democratic governor.....
I love my Georgia peeps, but your state produces the most rancid Repugs this side of Texas.

8. I heard this earlier;
typical repuke governor. Take an inability to govern (though elected), and foist the inevitable failure off on Gawd.
The Great State of Georgia voted for what think Sonny Perdue could give them, and they deserve it all, good and hard.O8)

9. It won't work - God is punishing Georgia
for Sonny Perdue, Saxby Chambliss, Johnny Isaakson, and assorted other freaks and monsters. The punishment is just and overdue. O8)
