Al Gore's "30 Rock" Cameo Is Tonight

This won't be the first time Al Gore joins the cast of a hit television show to, perhaps, poke some fun at himself, his cause and the television industry -- all with the subversive goal of strengthening all three.

Tonight, Gore and David Schwimmer will join the cast of "30 Rock" -- Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan -- as featured guests. Global warming will be the topic, as it is all "green week," as NBC Universal, child of General Electric, recognizes its parent's "Ecomagination" push with a Green is Universal theme.

Schwimmer is billed as an out-of-work actor who wants to be the GE green mascot, and Baldwin's Jack wants to replace the overly enthusiastic mascot with none other than Gore, played by himself.
