Apparently, this is the major fundraiser for the Dems, and Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Chris Dodd, John Edwards, Barack Obama and Bill Richardson all will speak.

1. There was a thread earlier this week that indicated he hadn't been invited.

9. No active campaign in state, no invite.
It's always been that way.

. . .he is not putting a lot of effort into his Iowa operation.

7. Isn't there a requirement that the candidate needs to have at least one paid
staffer in the State? Something like that? Not sure exactly, but something like that seems to be tickling my memory...

8. That's okay. I wont be sending any money to the Dem Party, just straight to Dennis
and I'm beginning to feel about Pelosi's voice and face the same way I do when the moron gives one of his press conferences - I want to change the channel

10. Dennis probably didn't show because...
he didn't have busfare.

Most of his campaign lapses are because he forgets to fund them.

12. As others have indicated above it's because he has no active organization in Iowa
He's not really competing there apparently.

13. I called Iowa Democrats to complain and they said-He doesn't have office, didn't sign pledge FL $$
Edited on Sun Nov-11-07 10:12 AM by fed-up
She said something about Dennis not signing a pledge not to accept campaign money from Florida since they were trying (or did?) to change their primary date

I was very clear that I did not appreciate them leaving out the ONE candidate that is NOT taking huge amounts of corporate $$$ and therefore may not be able to afford an office in Iowa. I said DK was the only candidate that spoke for me on the majority of the issues and it was a shame they chose to in effect silence those views.

Here is their number

didn't attend.
