I think it is important to see how our prisons are operating and what is going on inside them.

It was in large part due to watching these reports that I got the strong belief that the current system of imprisonment and "rehabilitation" and I use the latter term lightly is wholly ineffective.

I think it would help others to see how poor the whole system is.

19. I would agree with you if they showed the whole story behind the

prisoners and why they are ending up where they are. The SYSTEM is failing and this is what we have to show for it. Unfortunately this is just a show to make the inmates who are look like animals.

Anyone who enjoys that shit has to have a sadistic streak. Why would anyone to watch the miserable existence of those poor souls who lost out on life's lottery? They may as well also have a "people living in dire poverty" show too. Bet it would get pretty good ratings.

17. Have you noticed that most of the sites of Discovery

such as History, Discovery, Bio etc are all lately showing war and fighting and guns and criminals. You used to be able to sit down when tired and get a HISTORY LESSON. They would have a lot of American history about the west. About the Florida Indians, the trek from New York to Virginia etc. Now this is all you get it is disgusting. I suppose they were told to rev up war.
