Polls show Alabama MIGHT be in play if Hillary is nominated
Obama, of course gets beaten soundly across the board. Hillary has a fighting chance against Huckabee, Romney and Giuliani. Obama loses by a minimum of 7 to the four Republican leading candidates. I'll let you draw your own conclusions as to why that is.

I think our nominee would likely lose Alabama anyway, BUT I would just like to force the Republic nominee to campaign there and earn those electoral votes. The South must be targeted in 2008--and not just Florida.

5. It would be nice to see our nominee show up
But I am not going to hold my breath. The only candidate who showed up in 2004 was Nader.

7. Alabama?! They should run that poll again. I doubt any Democrat can win in AL.

10. I'll believe that when folks here in Mississippi start looking at Hillary.
And that's not really happening.
