The speech John Edwards gave today at the DNC was a keeper!

Edwards is a powerful speaker on the stump, and he is clearly drawing the line between himself and the other candidates by describing exactly what he would do, and how he would do it, if elected President.

This entire country, DEMS - REPUBS - INDIES all need a 'President' who will fight for the People who are shut out of their own government, and shake the death grip corporations have on Congress and the Executive Branch.

Who would not be happy if their candidate did exactly what Edwards described he would do if elected President?

So why are the other candidates not committing to taking the same action if elected President?

Something to think about.

1. He's had the plans and
policy platforms for some time now, and it's never a chore to figure where he is on any given issue. Why, oh why, won't the media highlight this? Oh yeah, I forgot, they got the "memo"..

Thanks Blackhatjack - K&R

2. The MSM has their own corporate preservation agenda, and Edwards cannot be bought ...
IN fact Edwards has clearly stated he will investigate the consolidation of the MSM which has been allowed to occur under the Bush Administration, and break them up to give more voices an opportunity to be heard.

This one action would go a long way toward 'educating' the people about what has been going on, and who is bankrolling the corruption.

5. consolidation question?
I'm an Edwards supporter, too.

Question about media consolidation, however...so I can speak intelligently about this subject.

Didn't that occur, or begin, under Bill Clinton?

Thanks in advance!

6. Yes...
We need to keep spreading the word. Edwards is our man ( and the most electable in the general ). The media are going to continue to try to make this a two-person race ( see Obama's saintly current Time cover ). The media is most threatened by Edwards, so will push hard to marginalize him. Let's not let that happen.
