maria emilia walked the streets of miami in a daze ,,,
she had left the group home where she lived allowing herself plenty of time to wait for the bus that would take her to her work.it was a nice and bright november saturday morning. she saw the young man approaching the bus stop as she stood there waiting for the bus herself. she thought nothing of the young man. when he got close to where she stood, he pushed her, grabbed her purse and cut the purse straps over her shoulder. it was early and there was no one standing about waiting for the bus to come. the man ran away, like a coward he showed himself to be from the minute that he pushed her. he ran away with her purse into one of the sidestrees where this lazy saturday morning not enough people where out and about yet.

Maria Emilia walked to her group home. The people congregated in the living room where surprised to see her walk back in. At first no one realized that she was holding only her purse straps. No purse. That she seemed to be in a daze but the whole totality of her just simply jolted them into knowing something had happened, although they couldn't quite put it together just then ...

And basically ... Maria Emilia is like our Constitution and like we the people. We together with the constitution have been assaulted by a coward and his cowardly thugs. Many of us are still in a fog, many of us know that something is terribly wrong, but many of us can't focus just yet on what exactly has gone wrong.

In the meantime the coward and his string of bandits sucking the oxygen out of our democracy ... leave many of us dazed, immobile and inarticulate to pursue him and his bands of criminal.

And yet ... that is what we have to do. Out of the fog and into the fight. IMPEACH THE CRIMINALs!
