Democrats need to get serious about this messaging stuff and frame things in a way that make the GOP alternative look bad.

If you call both MIDDLE CLASS DEFENSE POLICY, outsourcing and trade deals look like attacks on the middle class. Cuts in education spending are attacks on access to the middle class, and so on.

Edwards is probably doing the best job on this, but all Democrats should be talking this way.

It also wouldn't hurt if the initiated and supported policies that fit this mode.
