Imus is Back!
Senators John McCain, Chris Dodd, and Doris Kearns Goodwin are amongst the guests of Don Imus this morning. The dulcet tones of Charles McCord reading the news was most welcome and I'm going to give the show 30 minutes or so. Levon Helms is performing right now Hackensack University Medical Center is the first sponsor (Deidre will be on later).... I'm streaming from

1. He has made a very contrite statement about what happened

and took full responsibility for what happened, and said that he deserved to get fired. He has said that the meeting with the Rutgers team was a life changing experience. He is on the verge of tears about what happened. I know that many here will not care and will just want him to go away.
