Go HUCKABEE!!!

I would love to see this guy as the nominee. In the same way I wanted Pat Robertson to win in 1984.

Governor Huckabee of Arkansas pardoned a comvicted rapist because his conviction was for raping a Clinton relative!!!

I had never heard about this until I read about it recently at Huffington. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2007/12/05/former-aide-contradicts-h_n_75519.html

The pardoned criminal then went on to rape and murder another woman. The right wing machine apprently went on a major PR campaign to parole him. He was like their Mumia!!

As Hillary would say, "now the FUN starts".

3. This story hasn't hurt the guy yet
and, do this comparison:

Married Congressman, dead intern: Democrat Gary Condit - weeks of wall-to-wall coverage; Republican Joe Scarborough - crickets for coverage, gets a gig on MSNBC.

14. And he also laughed about it later...
From The Daily Dystopian:

Scarborough Laughs About Dead Staffer

http://sideshow.me.uk/sjun03.htm#092023

Conservative MSNBC news host Joe Scarborough was a guest on MSNBC's Imus show last Thursday, May 29.

In complementing Scarborough on his sense of humor, Imus said, "Don't be afraid to be funny, because you are funny. I asked you why you aren't in Congress. You said that you had sex with the intern and then you had to kill her." To which Scarborough laughed, "Yeah, ha, ha ha, well, what are you gonna do?"

That would be Lori Klausutis, the intern who was found dead in Scarborough's office.

7. are you kidding, this is the scariest possible rethuglican we could face
Rudy is a wack from New York. Most of us here in the South and Flyover states hate everything to do with New York.

Mitt is in a freakin cult- as far as Middle America believes.

Who else McCain, he's a crazy old man.

Huckster is a minister from the South. he has favorable ratings with Middle America.
We sold fear a Huster nomination.

Most of America, poor to rich, are in denial and clueless. Some just vote as if they were at a Botox Party or a BBQ.

15. He is actually pretty much a liberal in many respects. He was governor of Arkansas for 12 years.
Mike Huckabee is not stupid, either. He is relgious, yes, but not in a scary way. His religion is fundamental to a point, but only regarding abortion and gay people (against both). I don't believe he is a strict neoconservative fundamentalist.
His liberal leanings have pissed some people off, even.
My physican, who comes from the same small town (Texarkana is really where Mike Huckabee is from) was a staunch supporter of Huckabee's, but after he sided with some of the liberals in the state over funding issues for education, he broke the bond.
So don't be so quick to write Huckabee off.
If he gets the nomination, we are in deep trouble.
He could win.

22. He's very stupid. Very weak-minded and stupid. Talking fast and smooth
does not mean you're smart. He's not a liberal, either--just a classic triangulator. And he's religious in an EXTREMELY scary way--he truly believes God wants him in the White House. This stupid fuck needs to go.

17. It also appears
that despite his advantages as a candidate, he is much more likely to be abandoned like Bob Dole to his fate. Perhaps if he breezes by these "scandals" will be disappeared as fast as an AWOL record, but I am sensing this immediate attack signals he is too far from the inner circle and too SINCERE a part of the religious nut base to be acceptable as a Bush crony. Others who did not past muster: Hagel and Gingrich have been crushed with extreme prejudice on the launchpad. Still this guy passes the sincere schmuck test
with enough of a rotten apple nature to pass as a crony substitute for some of the agenda.

If abandoned by the machine, yet the nominee, this is a signal of significant GOP surrender of the POTUS position.

20. Huckabee doesn't pal around with the likes of Asa Hutchinson, et al.
And he is not a Bush crony. That is certain. He really doesn't care for Bush and Cheney.
He is Republican, but really acts like a Democrat in so many ways. I like him. I really do. I don't agree with his stand on abortion and gays, but he is really not ANTI gay, either.

21. Any Republican who could win--like Huckabee--scares me to bits
Not so much because of the man himself but because the next president is going to determine the direction of the Supreme Court for decades to come.

If the election results have already been programmed into the voting machines and a Republican is destined to win no matter what, I'd take Huckabee (or Romney, because of his past record) over, say, Rudy. But any Republican who could be a serious contender in an unrigged general election--as I think Huckabee could and most of the others couldn't--is really alarming.

26. Somewhere,
directly or indirectly, Mephistopheles will appear at his home and whisper the cold facts. Sign on the dotted line and that indelible signature will render all the ballots of America erasable. Although this guy has shown his true character, the machine will sigh with relief when he officially places his soul at Bush disposal.

Without FULL enthusiastic and expensively prepared massive, studied fraud, there is NO GOP candidate visible on this planet who can win an election against one of our finest. Our lack of nerve stems from the handicap of media disadvantage, money which corrupts both parties at the expense of Dems in general, and crooked election processes including massive voter suppression. If the GOP would care to peel all that away for just one election and see what they are left with among the generational brainwashing for all their efforts, it would be a most interesting sidebar to a Dem landslide- and something perhaps to engrave on the GOP tombstone.

I said I know his pal, my doctor. I live near Arkansas. I know all these people, I mean I know them really.
I don't have a crush on him. How dare you???? LOL

I just think he resonates with a lot of middle Amerikuns.

I'm not scared of him. He has little clout with the "trifecta," et al.

They think he's a nutcase.

He is NOT, I repeat NOT, a pal of Asa's.

18. When the Democratic Leadership takes Impeachment
off the table

What does it matter what candidates we have? The Democrats and Republicans alike have shredded the Constitution as toilet paper.

We'll deserve the pantloads we get as candidates unless we stand up now for the Constitution.
