How does Iran "come clean?"
They say that they are legally pursuing nuclear energy. They are cooperating with the IAEA. Bush says, your lying! You have a nuclear weapons program. Your gonna start World War III. The NIE comes out and proves Bush was lying. Bush says, they are still a danger. Since Bush will not listen to the truth presented by Iran, the UN, or even American intelligence. How does Iraq come clean?

*Can* Iran come clean?
Is there anything at all that Iran could do that would convince Bush and his associates that nuclear weapons weren't the goal?

Seems unlikely to me.

1. Why does the sovereign nation of Iran have to do Bush's bidding?
Who exactly appointed Bush ruler of the world?

5. Thats the question that I have been asking for some time now! Who the hell...
died and left him boss of the world anyway? Piss on Bush, he is nothing but a piss aunt anyway.... I wish some of these countries would tell him that too.. ie: China, Russia etc. instead of leaving the heavy lifting to Hugo Chavez to do.

21. Putin probably told him priavtely to hug a root, and that's why
he feels like he has to get his nasty little hands on Iran before they do.

23. Bush has certainly boosted Putins' credibility with this fiasco. Ahmadinejads' too.
The release of this NIE is being likened to an earthquake that hit Washington DC. NIEgate is now the big story that has the whole town shook up.

2. same way that Iraq had to come clean....
"If he says he doesn't have weapons of mass destruction, we'll know that he's lying." Only he was the only one telling the truth, all along.

4. This is kind of like psychoanalysis
If you acknowledge it, you're guilty. If you object, you're guilty, too.

Damned either way.

Same idiots, different century...

7. I've long said that Bush will not rest until gets to use a nuke. That was his first suggestion for
dealing with Iraq's WMD's. He wanted to drop a nuke on them to vaporize them.

8. I suspect that Bush probably will bomb Iran before his term is up...
no mater what the consequences that may follow. He lives to snuff out life and probably couldn't stand not being able to kill someone or something.

10. I can see Bush ordering the bombing of Iran on his way out the White House door.
Then claiming it was not his last act as President. But the new President's first act.

9. "I DEMAND an explanation! How can you not have nucular weapons?"
Jeebus H. Christmas.

When is he going to lean on Pakistan's and Israel's nukes, if he's concerned about regional WMD's? And why is he so damn eager to help India develop nukes, in exchange for some stupid mangoes??

12. Your reminded me of this ...... trying to prove a negative .....
"You see, we're in a stupid position. We're asking Iraq to prove a negative. You can't prove you have nothing, you can only prove you have something. So it's an impossible demand..." -snip-

just replace 'Iraq' with 'Iran' ... and you have this

You see, we're in a stupid position. We're asking Iran to prove a negative. You can't prove you have nothing, you can only prove you have something. So it's an impossible demand...

rest here .... http://www.novanotes.com/jan2003/jan302003.htm

It's getting closer isn't it? :nuke: ..... same playbook .....

13. I know what you mean. Why should the conspiracy theorists prove Bush & Cheney
were the real masterminds behind 9/11? They should use bush's own policy and positions against him. Bush and Cheney should have to prove that they weren't the real masterminds behind 9/11. It's just crazy. But that's par for the course with Bush.

16. Proving you have nothing
"You see, we're in a stupid position. We're asking Iran to prove a negative. You can't prove you have nothing, you can only prove you have something. So it's an impossible demand..."

Exactly. If the search for weapons comes up empty-handed, that simply means that the weapons are hidden really well!

22. By proving a negative, of course.
Nevermind that it can't be done. Nevermind that Logic 101 prescribes the failure to prove the positive as inferentially affirming the negative, since Cheney/Bush have never been required to prove the positive ... without blatant lies. It's not logic. It's not justice. It's "might makes right" - fascism.
