Canadian public radio interviewed Dennis Kucinich this evening.
Edited on Wed Dec-05-07 10:37 PM by Old Crusoe
I had the privilege of hearing it.

Kucinich was at his very best. I hope many of his supporters heard it. I don't even know what show it was, but will hunt around to see if I can provide a link later this evening. (UPDATE: Here's the site:

In any event, it was the words of fierce wisdom.

The man impressed me some many years ago as the Mayor of Cleveland.

He impresses me even more now.

1. I'm kicking this for Congressman Kucinich, and his New Hampshire supporters who
might have listened in last night to the Canadian broadcast.

Note also (from the website) the man Kucinich followed on the air -- Bolton.

2. Compared to everyone else he is so uncalculated.
He operates out of his principles- he is centered. You feel like you know who you are dealing with, instead of someone who is constantly shape-shifting or reinventing himself.

Its about the constitution, everybody.

3. Not as a point of contrast, but just in reference to Kucinich --
I wish more people could have heard the interview.

He's done many good ones, but in my opinion, this was his best.

Plus, the Bolton position came apart at the seams when Dennis began speaking.

It was a really good moment to be a Democrat opposed to the Bush administration's failed initiatives, and Kucinich carried the ball all the way down field for the score.

4. Dennis was very good - one of the better interviews - Bolton was an ass.
I heard both interviews in the car on the way home last night. I agree that Dennis' interview was quite good, and a much needed voice of sanity after enduring Bolton's spot. The ONLY good thing about hearing Bolton was that he clearly showed what a truly nasty human being ... and I refer to him as human reluctantly ... he is. Bolton really showed all of his true colors in that interview. I was surprised that the interviewer was able to keep her composure. Bolton was insulting condescending, aggressive, defensive, unreasonable ... in unbelievable form.

I NEEDED to hear Dennis after that.

two interview.

I agree with every damn syllable of what you wrote.

I'm late with a welcome to DU, but no less sincere for it.
