What's Next for Mike Huckabee?
Now that he's let a violent sex offender out on parole to rape and kill another victim, what's left for Mike Huckabee?

You know it's coming:

8. Makes Billy Carter look like Carrie Nation, does he?
He certainly doesn't seem to have gotten into the "Slim Down With Dad" spirit, has he?

Is that a mug shot, or does he always sport that vacant, slighty pissed off look?

10. It's a mug-shot. He was arrested for trying to carry a loaded gun on an airplane.

By that logic...maybe the wingnuts see his 'deddy' as Pretzledential material for that very quality!!!

Agggh!!!!

He's making Billy Carter look like Mother Theresa!

14. that's his kid?
Looks more like a crazed, Southern redneck serial-killer. But then, that's what I would expect a Huckabee, jr. to look like, anyways.

17. I don't care what anyone says - I think the children of candidates are DAMN important
If the parents can't raise kids that obey the law and stay out of trouble then how are these people going to do that for the rest of the country. Or even better - if the kids won't even support the parent running for office (aka Giuliani) then that should raise some serious questions over the viability of the candidate.

Sure, the kids never asked for this, but look at Chelsea - she rarely ever got into any serious trouble, got her college degree and even advance degrees. Her parents did a great job keeping that kid level-headed. And Chelsea was there for both of her parents.

19. I agree with you completely.
The odd unlucky youthful indiscretion aside, where a youngster is at the wrong place at the wrong time (that teen party or whatever) it does speak to the whole parenting business. When you see repeat performances of drinking, hell raising or whatever, it's plain that some home 'life lessons' just weren't taught. I came from a very large family, and you'd figure there'd be one hellraiser or even a bad apple, odds being what they are, but the worst thing any of us have ever done is get a speeding ticket.

We weren't raised 'strictly' either--in fact, we were raised in rather bohemian fashion for the day (not much "controlling" and a lot of personal decision making/consequences type lessons). But at least one parent was 'ever present' outside of school hours, and should they both have to be gone, a grandparent took over. That's been our family pattern down through the generations--as well as a strong matriarchal line, so the young ladies in the family learn to be assertive, and the lads learn to respect the ladies. No hubcap thieves in our clan, so far, anyway...!

5. Don't know, but the Reich Oligarchs do
Amazing how fast a story that has been around for years is suddenly on all the 'news' outlets.

'Somebody' is sending a message. Guess when you knock the hand picked successor off his perch . .

One things for sure, the Reich's coronation has been set back.

He doesn't understand that humor, in itself, is not an adequate reponse.

12. I don't know what's really doing to happen, but I sure agree with
Jack Cafferty. Today in response to this question he said "The first thing I thought of was Michael Dukakis! I KNOW I'm not alone on this one either!

I heard about 2 days ago about this releasing a prisoner who then raped and killed AGAIN, and instantly I thought about Mike. I have no idea how the RW is going to handle this, but if my reaction is typical, the Huskster is history!
