Here's a link to the replay on cspan.

http://www.c-span.org/VideoArchives.asp?z1=&PopupMenu_Name=Economy/Fiscal&CatCodePairs=Issue,EF

It's the first listing on the page.

The first part is testimony by people who were unfairly treated, but the second half is testimony by 3 reps from 3 different CC conpanies. I can't believe how underhanded and deceutful these guys really are! Sen. Levin smacks them around pretty good! I know I spent the last 30 minutes laughing! Levin really had to draw an answer out of the guy from Discover, and finally asked "why did it take me so long to get that answer?" The guy said "I don't know." Levin and McCaskill are doing a great job in this hearing!!!!

1. Yes, but what are they going to be able to do about it...?
Pass new laws? If they could get the laws through Congress (and remember that Biden and Lieberman, among other Democrats, are firmly in the finance industry's pocket), they'd face a sure veto from Bush. Even if we get "one of our own" in power by 1/20/2009, I'm not sure that any legislation to cut back on the inalienable rights of the banking industry to siphon more and more money out of the pockets of middle-class Americans would have a good chance of passing the Senate.

:-(

the CC co's were flat out
WRONG in the way they arbitrarily changed interest rates, and for no apparent or justifiable reason! he oly people who are siding with the c o's in thi case arethe investors, and tey sure are in the minority!

3. Ever watch WWF?
Great actors. Take this - SLAM! - and that - POW! That'll teach you bad guys. Greatest show on earth. Then they all go out to party together.
