Poll question: So, does America's health care system suck or blow?

I had to sit through an hour long meeting today about my health coverage, and boy oh boy, was it a headache. My deductable is doubling next year (bliss!) Anyway, I realized that, I am very lucky to have health insurance of any kind. However, if I ever needed to stay in the hosptial for some reason, I would be totally screwed. I would owe way more money than I could hope to pay.
This thought was very depressing for me.
In light of this, what do you think of America's health care system?

1. i'm carrying a bit of medical debt right now

as you well know, but i'm not going to complain about it. i have decent insurance and owe only a fraction of what others do and that is where the system is most broken.

Top that off with another 100 million basically under-insured and it blows.

And I'd like to add that my current family doctor is PRO single-payer health-care and hates the big pharmaceuticals!

my husband is having a problem with his rotator cuff? and the run around is ridiculous, follow up appointments are almost impossible to get but they're more than happy to phone in a new prescription for him. He needs to be looked at and not over medicated.
