Anyone notice the party unity on display in IA?
Kucinich was unfairly excluded... Keyes also did not meet Iowa's "requirements" but was not excluded.

And what are the other dems doing? Pretending like nothing's amiss.

Gee, I wonder why.

You want unity? There's your unity.

So please, nobody talk to me about unity in 08. Please.

1. FWIW, I feel badly also about Kucinich. He's not my #1, but to

allow Keyes and not Dennis is just wrong on all levels. I'm with you on this. If it were Biden I would be seeing red and foaming, etc.

5. The Reps are complaining about this too.
Only the way they are telling it, they are being targeted by a conspiracy to make them look bad by adding a second fringe candidate (I didn't even know Keyes was running until today) to their debate, while eliminating the fringe candidate for the Dems.

7. I was wondering why Keyes who just jumped into the race was included but DK excluded

11. Because Keyes makes the Repubs look better in comparison to his frothing asshattery...
But Kucinich has the opposite effect next to the Dem "frontrunners".

12. perhaps that's why - because he just jumped into the race
so they gave him a pass on the requirements

Either way, I am not sure how the inclusion of Keyes is the fault of Biden/Clinton/Dodd/Edwards/Obama/Richardson

22. Pathetic?
It's made from the highest quality straw, grown right here in the midwest. I demand that my strawman be included in the straw poll!

Called the Register... more than once. Nobody can tell me where this mythical office is.

14. So...why was he included in the debate? Even DK had more money and people than Keyes.
Edited on Thu Dec-13-07 03:19 PM by Selatius
That's what galls me. It seems they're applying their standards arbitrarily, and if so, they should be called to the floor on it.

15. I'm having trouble finding anyone
who can give me a good answer for that question.

The latest excuse, "Oh all those people are at the debate right now... no one here can answer."

Yesterday it was, "Call back tomorrow and we'll try to find out, we can't believe this is suddenly a big issue! hee hee!"

16. I miss Dennis too!
This debate is so bland and 'within the lines' without him. There's no one there to keep them humble. Now I'm beginning to wonder Who really was behind him not being allowed on.

heartsick and sickened.

18. did u notice Richardson got so much time?
not that I begrudge (well, yah a bit) but couldn't help thinking - wow, if Dennis had that uninterrupted time....
something really really stinkin' is afoot, but I think we all know that.

I'm going off to cry a bit, maybe I'll be pissed and mad later - right now I fell deflated and defeated, yet again.
