Computer Use? Is it your major form of entertainment??

I find that it is for me. More time on computer than other forms of entertainment. As it is a source for news too, I can see that I use it too much. Any comments?

9. I read more online that I do in print

Although I go through dozens of books a year, read the daily paper and subscribe to a bunch of magazines, I still read more online that I do in print form. Well, "more" as in more hours spent.

And I watch a fair number of videos online as well. I believe that YouTube/Metacafe/Liveleak another sites are more entertaining than channel surfing on the TV.

14. Yep, when I'm online, I'm reading (I don't do games or watch videos very much)--

I get magazines and buy books, but they tend to languish for a while before I get to them, because there's always something online to snag my attention. Like DU.

5. If I'm home I'm on the computer

lately, usually playing WoW. Speaking of that, I need to go farm some primal shadow before my guild's holiday party - we're going to port a lot of level 1 gnomes to Shattrath and do crazy fun things.

Using the internet for news allows you to seach major international stories from different national points of view, and decide on your own how you should feel about it, or what opinion to have.

A good thing for the free thinker. :)

Especially since I learned how to edit audio, video and images as well as build a very rudimentary website to display my disturbances.

I torrent my tv shows and read online occasionally.

It is also cool to finally see my old journal entries typed up with margins and everything!

Actually, having said that, no; I read nightly. Still very few things in life better than a good whodunnit.

But apart from that, I work with computers all day, and my far better half has the Mac booted up for me when I come home. I use it for keeping in touch with family & friends, a little bit of graphics & web design, and lots & lots of genealogy. Oh, and DU ;)
