By naming generations, the MSM creates divisions.

"greatest generation," "baby boomers," "gen x," "gen y." Notice I didn't capitalize any of these.

Each generation can blame the other for (insert name of shitty President here), a shitty economy, job market, etc. Can go on about how much easier and/or better, the other generation had/has it.

Anybody besides me sick of this?

3. GOP uses any tactic to divide Dems and independent voters
the GOP wins when the country is divided. Nothing new there.

4. It's offensive and silly
All of the negative and positive traits supposedly associated with these groups are actually present in every age group -- so it's all based on stereotypes and half-truths. The lazy MSM loves these labels, because they don't want to do any real analysis or research on social issues. And marketers are always looking to divide the population into thinner and thinner "demographic" slices, the better to "target" people.

6. Usually the younger too...
Same thing happened some 36 years ago, but these days if the emphasis can't be catered enough to today's kiddies... (in 1970, people were creating new things for kids. In 2000, who can create when profiting by digging up what was made yesterday is better?)

9. Doesn't everything have to be named, numbered, and categorized?
That's why we have time. That's why we have written language. Hardly a problem caused by the mainstream media. It uses it to help further division, sure, but increasing distance, separation, and division are required if we're to keep this whole thing going.

I'm sick of time, but, what are you going to do, break every clock? Hold on...

Let me get back to you in about 5 minutes...
