Some info from a REAL Iowan

'Now, we all know Iowans are spoiled, and I've heard some stories of Clinton calling individual Iowans, albeit Iowans of the elected official rank. But the Clinton precinct captain told this tale as an example of frustration with the top-down organization of the Clinton campaign. An Obama precinct captain was able to get the word up through the county and state structure that this principal, not a party activist but certainly a neighborhood leader who'd look really persuasive standing in the Obama corner at his precinct, could be persuaded by a few words from the candidate

Obama a candidate for the people, Hillary candidate of the corporations and the DLC'ers

1. The campaign had a major faux pas here.
We went to an appearance by Bill in the county seat. Our local co-chair of the central committee is also the local co-chair of the Hillary for Pres campaign.
Sitting behind the speaker is a rather prestigious seat reserved for local luminaries. Our co-chair was sitting in a seat behind the rostrum when she was asked to move, told that it wasn't proper for local party officers to be on the dais. Her seat and that of her granddaughter were taken by a couple of real freepers. These two guys will be the leaders of their respective Republican caucuses tonight and they are real right wing.

3. Thank you for that story TYPICAL Clinton
That is why I cannot understand why ANY Democrat would be for Hillary, but that is me.
I will say it again, I still have the tire-tracks on my body by being thrown under the bus by the Clintons in the 90's.

4. I think with the blunders in the campaign by locals they've had to go to a top down
organisation.
