8. It's also a closed primary state as well
I for one never changed my party affiliation to vote Dem from Indy because of the delegate loss.

20. i don't care . . . i'm a florida primary voter for edwards. it's not over
until the fat lady sings . . . and i'm not singing yet. i understand that edwards is staying in the race until the convention, so anything can happen. after all, who knows who the biden and dodd voters will back now?

i believe how we vote in the primaries WILL count, even if our delegates get blocked.

17. Thanks for the welcome.
I recently moved to the St. Louis area from Manatee county.

I loved FL (10 years there) but lost my IT job and couldn't find
another in over 6 months.

But my sweetheart is up here in St. Louis and we just got married
so all is good! And I found an excellent IT job up here in nothing
flat.

23. I live in a very RED part of Florida
I'm not sure if John Edwards can carry Florida in the general election but I can guarantee you Barack Obama most assuredly can not....I'm not so sure that Hillary can carry it in the general either.

When I moved here I registered as an independent because I was afraid if I registered as a Dem my vote would not be counted - still not sure if it is counted - anyway I changed my party affiliation on 12/31 with just hours left to do so - so on 1/29 I will be an Edward's primary voter - now if they seat Florida or not I'm not sure but not seating the delegates is STUPID.....

My feeling is Hillary is likely to do well here in the primary - seems like she is quite popular with older women.....however the turnout is likely to be low - so who knows.....

to vote heavily for McCain in NH and not Obama. They just might do that and ruin Obama's day.

37. Duuuh! Florida doesn't HAVE a primary! Or a Democratic party!
I keep repeating this, and none of you guys understand it. The entity known as "The Florida Democratic Party" is a branch of the Florida Republican party. And that's why there will be no primary in Florida and no Florida delegates to the convention. The Republicans decided to end the sham at last.

Will you guys finally get a clue and stop talking about Florida primaries? You're better talking about compassionate conservativism, which is no less imaginary but which some people believe is real.
