OK, Im almost embarassed to ask...
but is it true that Obama isn't on the ballot in MI, and if so why not? I must have been watching Teletubbies when this issue was discussed or something:blush:

1. Politics aside for a moment. Thank you for watching The Teletubbies.
I love the Teletubbies.

They are colorful and friendly and obviously very satisfied with their lot.

They live in a very lovely landscape where the sun shines and it never even rains.

I don't have a personal favorite Teletubby. I like them all.

God bless the Teletubbies.

3. Ya, what is going on it that State? I heard that it was better not
to put your name on the ballot. I specially like the tele. that carries the purse.

5. Now, midnight. It's not a purse. It's a magic bag.

8. I love them too, plus it really irritates my fundie in-laws that I let
my son watch them...life's little pleasures where you can find them and all that:)

11. Shame on your fundie in-laws. The Teletubbies are delightful. I've only
seen them on PBS once or twice and didn't even watch the whole show, but I could see plain as day that they are true peace-makers.

12. Have you seen the tap-dancing teddy bear...
...that flies down from the sky in a carousel?

He's not a Teletubby, but he rocks!

He comes out when the magic, silver Teletubby windmill whirls around.

:)

15. No, I have not seen the tap-dancing teddy, but now I want to.
I feel my Teletubby experience is incomplete.

I will try to catch the program one of these days when the teddy visits Teletubby land.

22. LOL! It could be. It's high time bears got some good PR. They're always
shown in fairy tales as one-dimensional, porridge-grubbing dolts.

In this case they have a transcendent quality.

I like it.

2. Vote Kucinich!
I'll let one of the Michigan natives explain the complexities of that chaotic mess. But voting for Dennis is the best way to keep a truly competitive and inclusive primary process going.

4. Plus, any advance for Kucinich in any state would piss off ABC News.
That alone is a worthwhile goal.

7. Exactly
If Dennis wins the primary in a medium size state, they can't possible exclude him from the debates, or the news coverage.

And even though Edwards isn't on the ballot, he benefits as well, because the media won't cover Kucinich and NOT cover Edwards.

I'm hoping John takes South Carolina. :toast:

16. Detroit News polling shows 3% for Kucinich and 33% for Uncommitted ... and over 50% for Clinton.
Mighty convenient, huh? :puke:

6. WOW.... someone willgive you the links soon enough.
I believe only Clinton and Kucinich are on the ticket due to 'party politics'.

10. Their delegates were invalidated for moving their primary up before the window opened
And the candidates were told by the DNC to remove their name from the ballot. Some of them did, others did not.

It will not matter because Michigan's delegates will not count.

14. Clinton, Dodd, Gravel, Kucinich, and Uncommitted ... but it makes little difference.
The Democratic Party REFUSES to recognize the election and refuses to seat any delegates from Michigan. In other words, the message is that VOTERS DON'T COUNT. This will result in at least a 5% swing to the right in the General Election. Mark my words.
:grr:

17. First shot of things to come
A direct attack at Howard Dean, who the Clintons hate, in an attempt to invalidate Iowa because Hillary was doing awful there and Edwards was expected to win. They were all moving towards staying off the ballots in FL and MI, to show solidarity for IA & NH. Low and behold, now that the election is here, the story is all different.

Vote Uncommitted.
