What is it not to get?
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x4056271

We had an election a while back and Congress changed hands

What really changed? All in all, really "Nothing".
The war is still going on as before and is being funded as before.
Investigations are still going nowhere.
Impeachment is still off the table.
Our jobs are still outsourced.
Iraqi civilians that we kill that we, as invaders, are still calling insurgents, whether they be men, women or children. Blackwater still murders the locals with impunity.

We have a another national election coming up and on the Conservative side we have a bunch of obvious clowns. They aren't even trying to win. Just going through the motions.
On the Liberal side, the front runners are basically for the status quo. None of them, I repeat, NONE of them are telling us how they plan to get our manufacturing back into this country again and our jobs, that go with it, back into this country.
None of then have a real plan to get us out Iraq.
NONE of them are saying anything about bu$h's crimes or impeachment or bringing him and his murderous band of criminals to justice at any time, now or in the future.

3. Do you think that DU is representative of "the country"?
If so, maybe MSM has an easy task, keeping people distracted from reality.

6. Check out the media. Of course I think this shit is everywhere.
Look and CNN, Faux, NBC, ABC, CBS. That's all you hear about. One side sniping and biting at the other. Look at the NYT and the Washington Post. Look at the regional rags.

That's all the hell this country is full of now. Backbiting nasty politics. No substance, just trash.

4. Some of us realize
..that although we won a majority in congress, it wasn't big enough to enact change. Hopefully, we will this time around, and elect a president who won't veto good legislation.
