Tonight Tweety was doing his "rankings"...whose hot, whose not. Based on what? Nothing more than Tweety's desire to stir up shit and view politics like a game...flash over substance every time. Talking about the economy or health care or even Iraq isn't "sexy"...it doesn't get ratings and attention...playing the race card or spewing some rumor does. It's all about creating media circus and letting the talking heads spin.

Lately I can't tell the difference between watching a cable news show and watching Sportcenter. Everything is boiled down to sound bites, gotchas, personalities and attempts by many to hop on the emotion and try to ride that for some headlines.

Again, we see how lazy the village idiots in the beltway are...and predictable. Instead of reporting a story that requires leg work and serious questions and intelligence, they go the low road with the knee-jerk cheap shots....beats having to work cause this story will always come to them or they'll just make shit up.

Considering this another attempt at voter suppression. Repugnicans know they can't get the black vote so they're going all out, with their corporate media cronies, to try to make race an issue in any form or fashion they can. The illegal immigration one hasn't really turned into the "golden" wedge issue, so it appears a new one is being tossed out there (not that some of us didn't expect it)

From this non-committed voter, I'm not fazed or biting into this game. Those who do buy into it were looking for a reason to find something to use against one campaign or another anyway.

if it was working I would have to question Abrams throwing cold water on it... right after Keith treated it in the Life of Brian comedy skit.

Moreover, how many folks truly watch these clowns? There are days I have my doubts that they truly talk to anybody beyond the political junkies and the Political Class.

Olbermann spent a lot of time covering it like it was a Bush scandal - which he should have been doing stories on. the segment on the Dems in Nev was hardly ANYTHING about that, it was all about the racial BS, and because of making it about that, J.E.(D.N.E.) got very little discussion because all he and Robinson and Todd wanted to discuss was Hillary and Barack's war of white versus black!
