DU needs to franchise to other countries

Think about it: There should be a forum similar to DU in as many countries as possible. I am not aware that there is anything comparable in the countries I have been. I live in Germany and although we do have several forums for all sorts of things, there is no central place to discuss issues that concern democracy that I know of. I am not an expert, but personally I think the whole design of DU is very brilliant. The forum structure and the way new threads get laid out is very streamlined. Other forums I have visited have a much less transparent way of acessing topics and achieving overview. I think DU is a good model for forums to spread progressive ideas worldwide.
