Will lots of Dems really vote for Romney in Michigan?

1. I think any smart dem would vote for Ron Paul. Romney should be the last person to vote for.

2. I think the logic for voting for Romney

has more to do with keeping the nomination process for the Repugs up in the air than due to agreement with Romney. If Romney can win MI, it will help prevent McCain from becoming the unofficial frontrunner. Also, Romney looks to have more electability issues than McCain and (at least according to most polls, from my impression at least) Huckabee, so that may be the reason that some are considering voting for Romney, especially since the Dems are getting no delegates out of their primary.

almost as much as Giuliani. Wouldn't you love to see Ron Paul win one of these and see the republicans scramble? Imagine having Ron Paul in all these debates and have him be taken seriously? It would be total destruction for the GOP. I'm certainly not a strategist, thats just how I see it.

if you had to vote for a rethug which rethug would you vote for? Like most elections its a matter of selecting the least of the evils. Are you really going to tell me you would rather have Romney or McCain over Ron Paul? Democrats in that state have the perfect opportunity to shake things up, I don't understand why anyone would throw that away by voting for McCain or Romney.

17. So few people vote in primaries, that it would be a waste of time.

How many democratic voters would really switch sides just to be mischievous? Also their votes would be split between numerous candidates further diluting any effect. Dem voters should vote for the candidate of their choice or uncommitted. Don't sully yourself by voting for some republican prick.

Plus, anyone of our candidates will defeat their poor choices this fall.

19. Part of the problem is we aren't willing to get our hands dirty

while the republicans have no problems doing so. This has cost us election after election after election. Its about time we stop playing nice. There is no reason the dem leaders in that state shouldn't come out and suggest which gop candidate democrats should vote for.

You are probably right, it might not make a huge difference but its about time we stop sitting on our collective asses and actually try to do something.

Michigan voters, please mark your ballots for DENNIS KUCINICH.

Why?

To keep more than two candidates in the running. In the debates. On the TV.

As of right now, 98% of this country has not voted. Neither Hillary or Obama has earned a nomination, nor should either of them have one handed to them.

If you supported Dodd, Biden, Richardson, or Gravel, they dropped out, because the media and corporations wouldn't let them compete fairly. If you supported them, vote for Dennis.

If you support John Edwards, he also is not on the Michigan ballot. A vote for Dennis Kucinich benefits Edwards as well. Because if the media whores are FORCED to include Dennis in their coverage as the winner of the Michigan primary, they won't exclude Edwards.

And for what it's worth, I'm rooting for Edwards to take South Carolina.

and that's why McCain won Mich. back then. I'd rather see them vote for Paul too. I don't think HE has a snowballs chanc in a general, but it would sure piss off McCan & Romney!

Have you seen the polls lately in match ups of Romney versus a democrat, he draws only like 30% support total, and regularly loses to all of our front runners by at least 10 percent, often he loses by as much as 15 percent. He's just plain unelectable, a Romney nomination by the republicans would be a dream come true for us.
