Yep, after fifty-five years of voting as an Independent, I signed on as a registered Democrat today. Looking forward to participating in the primary.

10. Former Independent here, too!

I was an Independent for 20 years (actually started out as a Republican in 1972, but quickly switched to "I" and voted for McGovern), then became a Democrat in 1992 to vote for Paul Tsongas in the primary here in Kansas. And I've been here ever since! Dems are a real good group of swells!
