There is something seriously wrong with John McCain.
He smiles at extremely inappropriate times or situations, has anger management issues and seems to have learned nothing, from his years in captivity as a POW, about war.

His recent "straight talk" about there's going to be more wars if he's the President should be enough information that anyone needs to know that this guy is flat out nuts.

4. On the other hand, he believes in Global Warming and is against a Federal Marriage Amendment.
Which means that the first six months of his presidency before he pushes the nuclear button and annihilates the entire human race would be more tolerable than the two months before Romney would kill us all.

You've got that wrong, if you would do your research about the policies he supports (ex: McCain/Feingold), he is a Democrat hiding in a Republican suit!

46. He supports the GOP agenda of outlawing the birth control pill.
That's Republican enough for me.

I guess he doesn't flatly reject scientific fact out of hand- he believes, supposedly, in evolution, he acknowledges that human increases in CO2 concentrations are affecting the planetary climate.. so in some ways I supposed he's slightly better than the Flat Earth fucking fundy ninnies who comprise the nose-picking, creationist base of the GOP.

But he's still a Republican. Believe me.

9. Honestly ...
... I think he's not well, mentally (yeah, I know we tend to say that about all Republicans, but I'm serious).

He seems to lose focus in the middle of a sentence. He's been caught a few times in the past few weeks refuting statements which he himself made only a week or two ago.

I don't think this man is mentally stable - and living in the pressure-cooker of campaigning is taking its obvious toll.

about how he continually lied last night about what Mitt Romney said, while waving around that piece of paper. Seriously, he looked delusional when he was doing that. If he does that kind of thing in the GE, he'll get trounced.

50. Yeah, JeffR and I were just discussing ...
... this after tonight's debate.

If the nominee is McCain, all the Dem (whichever one) has to do in a head-to-head debate is get McCain pissed-off about something - then sit back and watch him explode in front of millions of voters.

It's really kind of sad how low the GOP has stooped - running a candidate who is obviously mentally unstable, and praying that their voters will actually choose to have a loose cannon in charge of the country.

Good luck with that.

His mentation is slow as molasses, and his voice has been reduced to a monotone

Seems to have aged about 5 years in the last 12 months.

If anyone in the country thinks electing dubya II is a good idea, I'm stunned! These personality lapses have to be highlighted--so the uninformed voters take note.

36. People who have been imprisoned & tortured for 7 years usually do hate their captors
McCain earned the right to feel that way, imo. Not many people can rise to the spiritual level of the Dalai Lama or Mother Teresa.

Whether he is suitable to be president is another issue entirely. I don't think he is.

I watched his Florida speech, and it appeared as if he was staring out into the crowd and reading from a teleprompter. Is that even possible? I have seen some people who just sort of get a blank stare when reciting something memorized, as if it takes all of their concentration to recollect the lines leaving no room for natural body language. I dunno. Whatever the case, the creep factor is definitely high with this guy; he sets off all kinds of internal alarms.

5. Everytime I see mclame, I think he's going to explode...

or is that just me?

I mean the guy looks like he has the shortest fuse ever.

A recent exchange between mclame and some fellow senators...

Senator #1: so john, you play a mean game of golf I hear?

mclame: oh yeah, just who the fuck told you that??!!!!

Senator #2: whoa, whoa, john back off, we were just talking golf here...

mclame: whoa? whoa? who the fuck are you? Fucking goddamn, john fucking wayne?

Senator #3: John, what's wrong with you? are you alrii....

mclame: fuck you, you dumb fuck. are you trying to tell me I have a fucking problem? I tell you this you little turd, you will have the problem, that's right, I will make your life fucking miserable!!

Senator #4: Look, we are just asking you about golf, okay?

mclame: no, it's not okay, you guys love to attack me and this is a set up, you all are after me. fuck you!

Senator #5: Ssshhh, here comes the prez...

moron*: what goes on here? Hey john!

mclame bear hugs moron* and sticks his tongue out at the other Senators.

moron*: Ummm, john, you can let go now...

John continues to hold on.

moron*: can someone scrape this guy off of me?

The other Senators try to pull mclame off the prez*. mclame holds on like grim death. Several other Senators pile on to dislocate mclame from moron*.

moron*: get this idiot off of me!!!

Like the sound a popping cork, mclame breaks free. the prez* straightens his tie, the other Senators smooth down their rumpled cloths. Everyone catches their breath in the awkward moment.

Silence falls upon the group. Each eying the other nervously. Finally the prez* breaks the silence...

moron*: John McLame! your next president!!
