They switched ours to an elementary school with about 8 parking places..

(okay, I'm exaggerating, but...:grr: )

The place we voted before was a catholic church multi-purpose room with TONS of empty parking places..& before that it was the library (also pretty empty most of the time)..

I am extremely pissed at the change..

Our town just built a HUGE community center building & I don't see why they couldn't just have most of the city just vote there.. Surely they could set up different areas within the place to accomodate the various sections of the city.. The community center is on the bus route and has plenty of parking..

using schools on a Tuesday is STOOOOOOPID !!

1. I'm suprised they're forcing it this early in the game
During the 2002 Ed Rendall campaign (he ran for governor of Philly), the repukes filed complaints against a dozen or so voting locations like 8 weeks before the general election. Fortunately the judges ruled against this.

However, there has been a long-time complaint about using churches for polling places. Ironically it's the republicans that use this rule against us since most big cities tend to use churches as voting places
