1. Yay!
I was really hoping Rachel would get Tucker's slot, but Gregory is a definite improvement over former bowtie boy.

Does this mean KO is reapeating twice? :woohoo: Lot of times I have to miss the 8 p.m. show and midnight is just too late to stay up. 10 p.m. is doable!

2. I really like David Gregory, but I'm sad that Rachel isn't getting her
own spot. I really thought she was in line for one.

3. It would be too much all at once for her. Give her time, she is fantastic
in debates, but anchoring a show is something else. I do hope David Gregory will have her on regularly. All in all, very very good news.

12. Perhaps this is why Countdown will reair at 10pm
Maybe just keeping the seat warm for Dr. Maddow until the logistics are worked out (She also just got an extra radio hour.)

4. Good! I wrote to MSNBC months ago and suggested they give

David Gregory a show of his own because when I have seen him he acted like a real journalist doing an interview, instead of a buffoon. I hope he will live up to the promise I've seen in him.

10. Isn't this the guy that buddied up to Rove to do a duet?

Eidt to add - I get a bit confused between Shuster and Gregory but I think Gregory softballs questions sometimes whereas Shuster seems to be a bit harder. I may be wrong.

9. Despite his awful dancing, and also performing with Rove, it's probably an improvement
over Tucker.

13. Tin-eared, brain addled Andria MITCHELL?!1 She makes shit UP!1
She "wings it" when she has run out of reportage. When there was this court decision, big one, with all the reporters racing for a copy to get on the air, she mis-read what it said, Tweety cut away from her, then the panel (with another copy) were saying the EXACT OPPOSITE of what she said. When they put her on a few minutes later, she bounced along as if nothing had happened.

And a-hole SCARBOROUGH used to slap her down frequently for her fantasy observations, saying, "No, Andrea, that's not what it's like... Yes, that *is* what you said..."
