2. i can't stand those shows - i want news when i get home from work
too late for abrams, too early for Keith.

Its like they want to glamorize the fact the USA has 1% of it's population in prison.

11. Good news for you - Keith repeat of Countdown
is moving up to 10PM EDT instead of Midnight. The prison shows will now be from 11PM to 2am when they run a 2nd repeat of Countdown. Starts next week by their PR blurb.

3. apparently.
And it isn't like CNN has really useful programming then either--but is isn't as bad as non-topical docu-reruns that were not interesting the first time.

4. No--they actually get huge ratings for those pathetic shows
so they can just run them again, and again, and again...and actually make more money than they would producing fresh programming all weekend long. Sad but true.

5. That is why I hate them so much ~ they keep showing us
the new slavery.

Making sure we know for sure that my Brother's and Sister's are locked up tight in jail.

How much does Bushco pay them to show this crap.

7. I can't watch them except for select moments of Keith.
They're cable and mass murderers and their living arrangements don't interest me.

8. The Bottom Line...
Most cable channels now are run "lean and mean"...maximizing talent and programming while watching a shrinking bottom line. MSNBC is a "boutique" network...a small portion of the NBC/Universal operation and one run on a very tight budget. It's a showcase for the News division...one of the least profitable divisions in the company. It's people intensive and the revenues have to justify the pay the "big boys" and their staffs. There's no live programming after Abrams and the reruns are used to give more "bang" for discount advertising (the only type the network can get with its ratings). CNN isn't any better...they're pretty much on auto-pilot late nights and weekends as well.
