NATION SHOCKED BY POLITICIAN’S BEHAVIOR

Eliot Spitzer threw in towel yesterday - and a dirty towel it was. Now the disgraced politician has to face his family and the lifelong shame of his shocking behavior.

He was a rising star, a bright light in the Party and a man you knew would run for president one day. Now, he’s just another guy with too much money and lots of time on his hands.

He could have done anything - anything but you know what - and we would have forgiven him and let him serve.

He could have stolen the election and let the courts install him. He could have given huge tax breaks to his friends, allow the mortgage and banking industry to run wild, sit down with big oil and ask them to write energy policy, and we’d still embrace him.

He could have ignored intelligence, sat frozen when our great city was attacked, lie about who was responsible, then declare war on the sovereign nation that he lied about, and we’d elect him for a second term.

He have could ignored a devastating natural disaster, put incompetent cronies in high office, terrorize us with terror alerts, and we’d just change the channel and watch American Idol.

He could have denied the law, trampled on the Constitution, violated the civil rights of every man, woman and child in America, and we’d still give him a pass.

But he paid for sex…with a woman.

That's all ok . .

But if your little guy wanders into the wrong hole . .

Then all that you have done, or planned to do to better the plight of your citizens is deemed meaningless

Judging people by their sexual behavior is just plain stupid IMO

Judge them only by actions that affect one directly

Let's see how many more sex scandals can be dragged up before the election.

I'm sure the PNACers got some in store.

Nothing sells like sex.
