21 countries in the world are more ’stable’ than the U.S. (Think Progress) In a new report by by the British-based Jane’s Information Group, 21 countries are ranked more stable than the United States. Based on assessment of “political structures, social and economic trends, military and security risks and external relations,” the U.S. was given a risk rating of 93 out of 100 for all-round stability. The Vatican topped the list and Sweden was ranked second. Additionally, the study found that Afghanistan is more unstable than Iraq. An unstable president leads to an unstable country.—Caro
This way we go through our lives blissfully believing we are a super country. Talk about shock and awe. When our real economic condition becomes so apparent and people are losing all they have worked for, they may get it. Our security is a joke. Our civil rights are barely recognizable. Corporations must be protected so they can protect us (super sarcasm).
