From porn star to First Lady.
Elizabeth Banks to play Laura Bush in Oliver Stone movie

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Elizabeth Banks is going from the world of adult films to the White House.

The actress, who recently wrapped shooting Kevin Smith's comedy "Zack and Miri Make a Porno," is in final negotiations to portray first lady Laura Bush in "W," Oliver Stone's biopic on the life and presidency of George W. Bush.

Josh Brolin ("No Country For Old Men") already is on board to play the president. Shooting begins in late April in Shreveport, La.

Stone, who wrote the screenplay with his "Wall Street" collaborator Stanley Weiser, has said he plans to make "a fair, true portrait" of Bush, focusing on such areas as his relationship with his father, President George H.W. Bush, his wild youth, and his conversion to Christianity.

Banks, 34, starred in the three "Spider-Man" films, "Seabiscuit" and "The 40-Year-Old Virgin."

21. Cult on Mexican/TX border. Cannot find any links, but remember when it happened
in 1981(?), iirc. A reporter from a San Francisco newspaper asked him about it before the 2000 Selection. * gave the strangest reply, "I'm not going to comment on something that may or may not have happened.". Odd huh? And * was still actually coherent at that time.

I saw it on the news just one time in 2000, found one link some time ago on my other comp., before the total meltdown, and have never been able to find it again. May try again tonight if time. I also recall seeing it on the news in the early 1980's when I lived in San Antonio. I was deeply into researching mass murderers, serial killers and cults back then, so it always has stuck in the back of my mind.

There was a massacre of a border cult, want to say in Matamorous, not sure, and Poppy was fighting a sheriff trying to investigate the massacre of the cult members (* was reported as living there at the time). * came wandering in when the situation was found and reported. * claimed he had no clue where he had been for three days.

Poppy got the investigation shut down as he was current VP, as if he couldn't have managed it anyway.

I'm sure someone will flame me as I have no link anymore, but I distinctly remember it, in the 1980's and in 2000.

Distinctly.

once Jan 19, 2009 has passed, no one, NO ONE, will want to see, hear, or think about GWB or his wife, his mom, his dad, his kids, his pig ranch, his VP, his PNAC enablers, his work wife, or his scottish terrier EVER AGAIN!

save your studio money & don't fund this pointless folly by this over the hill egoiste.
