Anyone on a mac unable to stream AirAmerica's new site?

1. I'm on a mac,

and not only did it NOT stream on Safari, I tried Fire Fox and Camino, too -- no go.

I'd posted about it earlier and others had had problems as well (don't know if they were mac or PC, though).

I think it's the site.

It's crazy. So many progressives own Macs and almost all streaming sources work with Macs, but AAR goes out of its way to mess up Macs.

6. Have you tried that site since their relaunch? It doesn't work for me either...

No sound. I click "listen Live" put in my zip and hit the mac button... it reloads but no sound. This sucks, I am on a top of the line mac, this should not be happening.

it on my PC at work. Their new streaming software or player or whatever sucks. I emailed them today and told them.

Our local progressive station moved Thom Hartmann to the late night time slot, so now the only way I can listen to him is via streaming.

Damn Air America. Everytime they get their lineup settled into something listenable (word?) they figure out some other way to screw it up.

13. Your Problem Is...

that AAR has apparently switched their web accessible stream to Windows Media Player only. I haven’t been able to get them either but, as I'm on a PC, it's for other reasons. It will eventually be fixed for PC users but I'm still a little miffed. I nearly loathe WMP and I usually listen to their Real Player stream (don't even start) because you can pause and resume the stream. There's no such functionality with WMP streams.
