Did someone declare this National Flaming Racist Idiot week, and I just didn't notice until now? You have got to read Michael Medved's latest foray into pseudoscience: he has declared American superiority to be genetic, encoded in our good old American DNA. Because our ancestors were immigrants, who were risk-takers, who were selected for their energy and aggressiveness. Oh, except for those who are descended from slaves.

9. How does this work for all the white people who have black blood but don't know it?

I had several family members in the 30's and 40's pass for white, marry white men and women, have white kids and they don't know they are black.

I wonder what the author of that articles genetic make up is. I bet their are more white people who are really black, than there are all white, white people.

I have a healthy mix of multiply racial backgrounds coursing through my veins. I am proud of being Irish, german, american, white, american black, west indian, and African.
