the bottom line is, Scotty didn't pull in nearly as much as his Bush butt-kissing former colleagues.

I think Scott down deep loves his country like we do and he now sees the errors of his ways and will work to make amends. but thats just me

6. It's the royalties that'll be huge. I predict five million.

I"m in publishing and can tell you this: if McClellan's book sells as well as it seems to be, his royalties will amount to well over five million dollars. This is an amazing coup for a little publisher like Public Affairs. What's really wonderful is that, despite Scotty's small advance (and it is astonishingly small), he is probably going to out-earn all those others combined.
